Ingredients for 4 people:
For the puff pastry:
- 250 g flour
- 200 g sugar
- 60 g butter
- salt
For the filling:
- 1 kg “golden” apples
- 60 g pine nuts
- 20 g raisins
- 50 g butter
Preparation:
Mix the ingredients for the puff pastry in a large bowl and knead until you get a nice elastic dough. Cut the apples into slices and add sugar, toasted pine nuts and raisins. Leave the mixture to stand. Roll out the dough until very thin on a cloth sprinkled with flour. Spread the filling evenly and roll the dough using the tablecloth underneath. Then gently roll the strudel onto a greased baking sheet with the seam-side down. Bake at 120°C for about half an hour. The strudel is ready when the surface turns golden-brown.

a sweet low-alcohol wine with fragarnt apple scent.
